Liberals have taken things too far in their ridiculous assault against White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is tearing into his daughter’s detractors over the absurd piegate controversy–and his reply is perfect.
Gov. Huckabee made clear why it was a bad idea for White House correspondent April Ryan to question his daughter’s pie-baking abilities.

“Let me tell you something,” he told Stuart Varney of Fox Business Network. “She’s been making this pie for years… makes them for friends, but here’s the warning that I would issue. Stuart, don’t ever and I mean don’t ever mess with a Southern woman and her homemade pies. It is as dangerous as when you hear a Southern woman begin her sentence with ‘bless your heart.’ It means you’re about to be gutted like a deer and just don’t know it.”
Huckabee explained how Ryan and other liberal journalists are shooting themselves in the foot by stirring these fake outrages.
“It just shows how ridiculous the coverage has become and piegate certainly should be over. I hope Sarah makes a pie and serves it to the press corps,” he said.
Huckabee also affirmed that the chocolate pecan pie in question is, in fact, a recipe the press secretary prepares for her family, mentioning he would get to taste it when she visits him for Christmas.
Sanders has been known to get tough when the occasion calls for it. She’s taken on Ryan before, blasting the journalist for suggesting that the Trump administration supports slavery.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a fighter and comes from a loyal family. If Ryan thought she could come out of the fray unscathed, she was sorely mistaken.
