In a seldom seen turning of the tables, “Glee” actress Naya Rivera was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery following an altercation Saturday with her husband, actor Ryan Dorsey.
Dorsey told deputies that his wife struck him in the head and the bottom lip while the couple took their 2-year-old child for a walk at their home in West Virginia, WSAZ-TV reported.
He also gave police a cell phone video that reportedly backed up his claim.
The voluptuous actress is very petite, but apparently packs quite a punch as deputies were able to identify “minor injuries” on Dorsey.
Rivera was taken into custody and a Kanawha County magistrate set bond at $1000. She was then released from custody and picked up by her father-in-law, according to WSAZ-TV.
ABC affiliate WCHS in Charleston posted a video of a tight-jawed Rivera in handcuffs while being arraigned.

Rivera and Dorsey were married in 2014, not long after she broke off an engagement with rapper Big Sean. Rivera filed for divorce from Dorsey in November 2016, before calling it off last month, The Hollywood Reporter.
While it’s hard to say what prompted the alleged altercation, violence is never a good decision, and as appealing to the eye as Rivera may be, there looks to be many layers to the person underneath all that beauty.
