Liberals love playing the victim. They create permanent victim classes that are supposed to receive eternal support from the federal government. Even when they’re protesting, left-wingers do so by trying to make us feel bad for them.
In New Jersey, a group of seven illegal aliens and their friends are protesting the elimination of DACA by performing a hunger strike, WNYCC reports.
The protesters want the government to shield illegal aliens who were covered by President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The Trump administration announced in September that the program was illegal and will be terminated by March 2018.
One of the protesters, 24-year-old Adriana Delgado of Toms River, said “I’m sitting here looking at my last meal and trying to imagine what my meals would be like if I was sent back to Mexico.”
How strange that she’s so worried about what her meals would be like in Mexico when “Dreamers” are constantly bragging about how amazing Mexican food is.

Delgado lamented the thought of future “meals where I wouldn’t be able to share dinner with my father and sister anymore. Meals in a country I don’t know.”
She also raised the possibility of separated families as cause for providing illegal aliens with a pathway to legalization.
“People think that I’m crazy for doing this hunger strike but I’m willing to suffer for three days if it means not suffering for a lifetime. There will be thousands of families who will have broken dinner tables if nothing is done.”
The hunger strikers are staying at a church all week until they break their fast on Thanksgiving Day. During that time, they will be visiting the offices of New Jersey’s five Republicans in Congress.
Despite their politically precarious situation, the protesters emphasize that they want nothing short of a “clean” bill–meaning a bill that isn’t tied to conservative immigration proposals like the Wall or more border patrol.
In other words, they’re unwilling to negotiate. These young Democrats have been taught well. They demand the world without giving anything in exchange–even when they’re out of power.
This is exactly why Americans have started drowning out liberals’ pity parties.
