Hillary whistleblower Donna Brazile is back to let Americans know 2016 wasn’t a ‘legitimate election’

Former Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile is agreeing with Hillary Clinton and questioning the legitimacy of President Donald Trump’s election win.

The Clinton whistleblower thinks the former Democratic nominee is right to sound the alarm of Russian meddling in the election, responding to MSNBC host Chris Matthews who found Clinton calling the election illegitimate to be “confounding.”

“You may not like a lot of things done in it,” Matthew said of the election on “Hardball” Tuesday. “But the election still counts.”

“Donald Trump cracked the blue wall,” Brazile said on “Hardball” Tuesday. “He was able to win votes in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, but, yes, I do believe Secretary Clinton is making a very important point. The role of social media, this coordination between WikiLeaks and possibly the Trump campaign—we need to get to the bottom of it.”

Matthews repeated his question, not satisfied that Brazile completely answered him.

“My question to you is was it a legitimate election? Does it count?” he asked.

“My personal view is that it was not a legitimate election,” Brazile responded, appearing to shock Matthews.

“Remember, I [was] the campaign manager of Al Gore in 2000, where, as you well know, the Supreme Court decided,” Brazile continued, referring to the Florida vote recount that was decided by the Court. “This election will always have an asterisk by it, and that’s why I think Donald Trump should take steps as president to clean up our system so that no more foreign governments, no foreign meddling occur in the future.”

Matthews pressed her about the “strong statement” noting that his definition of “Illegitimate” was decidedly different.

“I think the word illegitimate is third-world, fourth world,” he said. “I think Hillary should have never used it.”

“I agree on that point, but you’re arguing semantics when I want to argue that there was some big issues, big problems, and she faced a significant headwind in 2016,” Brazile said. “I think what she means when she talks about legitimacy, she’s talking about the foreign interference and meddling and what I describe in my book, ‘Hacks.'”

The political analyst and former CNN contributor exposed the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party of essentially rigging the Democratic primary against Sen. Bernie Sanders. She also revealed in her book that while Russians allegedly stole data, the DNC sat on their hands for a month so as not to disrupt primaries still going on in several states.
