The president of the National Border Patrol Council shared gruesome details of the death of a border patrol agent on the southern U.S. border Sunday.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent Rogilio Martinez died from severe injuries sustained while responding to “activity” in the Big Bend Sector in Texas. The death prompted President Donald Trump to respond by ensuring justice will prevail:

Martinez was killed while patrolling in an area near the U.S.-Mexico border with a partner, who remains hospitalized in serious condition.
NBPC President Brandon Judd, who is also a border patrol agent, told Breitbart Texas that Martinez was brutally murdered by illegal aliens who crushed the agent’s skull with rocks.
“What we know is that Border Patrol Agent Rogilio Martinez appears to have been ambushed by a group of illegal aliens whom he was tracking,” Judd said. “Our agents’ reports from the ground say that he was struck in the head multiple times with a rock or rocks.”
The same method of attack was reportedly used against the second agent, who Judd said “was also ambushed and struck in the head with what is believed to have been a rock or rocks.”
“These disgusting acts and complete disregard for human life need to stop immediately,” he added. “Family members of slain Agent Martinez will never get to see him come home again all because we have failed to secure our borders from such criminals.”
Perhaps this tragic incident will finally prompt the Democratic Party to stop opposing efforts to secure the southern border. Perhaps.
