While most of America was sleeping, Donald Trump went on a wild Twitter tear for the ages

President Donald Trump hit back at Kim Jong Un by implying the North Korean dictator is “short and fat” after Kim trashed Trump as an “old lunatic.”

“Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old,” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat?” Trump tweeted. “Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend – and maybe someday that will happen!”

President Trump was responding to North Korean state-run media reports saying Kim had called Trump’s Asia tour “a warmonger’s trip for confrontation with our country.”

Kim continued: “Reckless remarks by an old lunatic like Trump will never scare us or stop our advance … it pushes us to speed up the effort to complete our nuclear force.”

In the same tweet storm, Trump also tore into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, mocking her unsuccessful bid to “reset” U.S.-Russia relations.

He also noted that former president Barack Obama “had zero chemistry with Putin.”

Trump underscored that as the only two superpowers, it’s better for the world that the United States and Russia get along rather than be mortal enemies as the liberal media want.

The president tweeted: “When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics – bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!”

Liberal media had a collective meltdown because Trump called Kim Jong Un “short and fat” when their anti-Trump hero, Senator John McCain, had called Kim a “crazy fat kid” in March 2017 (see video above).

CNN also fat-shamed Kim in 2015, when it did an entire segment on his weight and made wild speculations about his health even though Kim was only 31 years old at the time.

President Trump is nearing the end of his whirlwind Asia tour, where he got the red-carpet treatment from North Korean ally China, and threw down the gauntlet to Kim Jung Un in a fiery speech.

“Do not underestimate us. And do not try us,” Trump said. “The regime has interpreted America’s past restraint as weakness. This would be a fatal miscalculation. This is a very different administration than the United States has had in the past.”

In the days preceding Trump’s Asia trip, multiple media outlets speculated that Kim would test-fire missiles during Trump’s visit to South Korea or Japan to annoy him. Kim did not. He waited until Trump flew down to Vietnam (in Southeast Asia) before launching his saber-rattling rhetoric.
