Melania’s stunning in her Asian floral gown – but what she’s wearing with them’s the real ‘knockout’

On a ten-day visit to Asia, President Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump showed that diplomacy is about more than white-knuckle deal-making and formal state agreements.

The president gave a fine speech alongside Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping extolling the need for cooperation on trade and international matters, such as confronting the North Korean threat.

“As part of our commitment to regional stability and peace, the United States also continues to advocate for reforms that advance economic freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law,” Trump said.

“I want to thank you again – you are a very special man – for your gracious hospitality,” he added. “I send my warmest regards to your citizens, I honor their heritage, and celebrate their great, great possibilities and potential for the future. In the coming months and years, I look forward to building an even stronger relationship between our two countries, China and the United States of America. And even closer friendships and relationships between the people of our two countries.”

The presidential power couple showed themselves to be comfortable navigating the finer art of diplomacy, which often requires a softer touch.

The First Lady maintained quiet dignity and an air of self-composure while navigating the rigid formalities of international diplomacy.

Melania’s quiet elegance was the perfect complement to her husband’s businesslike rapport.

She also revealed a softer and warmer side that expressed a genuine humanity.

She spent time at the Banchang Primary School and showed her humility by sharing art tips with young children.

And she also shared her knowledge of the world of fashion.

That’s obviously something she knows a little about.

Knockouts.

When asked about Melania Trump’s uncanny knack for matching cultural attire, like her beautiful Asian floral gowns, with cutting-edge fashion, her communications director told CNN:

“Mrs. Trump always wants to be thoughtful and respect the traditions and protocols of the countries she visits. She knows she is representing the United States, and wants to be sure she is appropriate in all that she does. She is planning her wardrobe around each stop and visit, which I believe is pretty typical of anyone who is packing for a trip.”

There’s nothing typical about First Lady Melania Trump.
