Though in office for more than 9 months, far-left elements of the Democratic Party show no signs of letting up on their partisan attacks against President Donald Trump, to include repeated calls for his impeachment.
Not allowing themselves to be burdened by a lack of high crimes and misdemeanors, Rep. Luis Gutiérrez is at the head of a group of Democrats who plan to file new articles of impeachment against the president before Thanksgiving, The Hill reported.
Gutiérrez, once a member of the now-defunct Puerto Rican Socialist Party, a Marxist-Leninist outfit inspired by Castro’s revolution, according to the National Review, is the new face of the Democratic Party.
“It is clear to us that he is unfit to be president of the United States of America,” the Illinois lawmaker said Wednesday, according to The Hill.
With a Republican majority in the House, the effort to remove President Trump is little more than political theater intended to drive headlines and public opinion.

And while there must be cause, Gutiérrez refused to cite the grounds upon which they want Trump removed from the most powerful office in the world.
“I assure you we will not leave you lacking for reason,” he teased, adding that they are working with constitutional scholars on their case.
Gutiérrez said “there is increased interest” following the indictment of former Trump campaign figures by special counsel Robert Mueller.
Among the names bandied about that may be part of the new coalition is Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn — Cohen said he planned to introduce impeachment articles against Trump following the violence in Charlottesville, Va.
The Hill noted that two other Democrats — California Congressman Brad Sherman and Texas Congressman Al Green — have already introduced articles of impeachment targeting Trump.
