“It’s always Russia, Russia, Russia.”
Liberals were smiling when MSNBC host Chris Matthews was invited to promote his new biography of Robert F. Kennedy on The View on Thursday. Matthews spent most of his time fielding softballs from show host Joy Behar, and it didn’t take long for things to get wacky.
Out of the gate, The Hardball host slammed President Trump, saying this book was especially relevant given Kennedy was “everything we don’t have right now.”
Behar quickly brought up the investigation of possible Russian collusion led by special counsel Robert Mueller, and Matthews was all too eager to bite.
“It’s always Russia, Russia, Russia,” Matthews said of the Trump administration.
“If [Trump] did anything illegal Mueller’s going to find if,” Matthews said. He then went on to gush over Mueller, comparing him to a modern-day Colombo.
“[Mueller] walks around lugging that fifty pound attaché case and he always leans into it to show how much stuff he’s got in there,” Matthew said. “And I’m looking at him, he’s like Colombo, too. ‘I’ve got one more question, just one more thing.’ You just get the feeling he’s not going to stop.”
Mathews pointed out that anything that arises from the investigation is fair game to indict the president or anyone in his administration. The giddy liberal panel even salivated over the possibility of the probe opening up Trump’s tax returns.
Predictably, no one brought up the fact that “anything” means any possible indictments against Democrat candidates and the DNC.
Mathews conveniently left out that the investigation has already uncovered that the Hillary Clinton campaign paid millions for the unsubstantiated and salacious Russian dossier concocted to take down then-candidate Donald Trump.
“I wish the Democrats were a little bit more concerned, instead of reading the Moscow phonebook during the witnesses interviews trying to see if Jared Kushner knows a guy named Igor, I wish they’d help,” Trey Gowdy said of the investigation and Hillary’s connection to the Russian dossier.

The ridiculous dossier may have been used as “evidence” by the Obama administration as an excuse to spy on the Trump campaign. If proven, it could spell big trouble for Democrats.
There was also no mention as to why the investigation isn’t looking into why Hillary may have put America’s national security at risk by approving the sale of U.S. uranium to a Russia-backed company… A sale that resulted in millions of dollars for the Clinton Foundation.

Talk about collusion!
And the liberal View cohorts seemed conveniently unaware that Mueller’s probe spread to include an investigation into the Clinton-connected Podesta Group for shady political dealings involving the Ukraine.

Podesta Group head Tony Podesta stepped down from the lobbying firm on Monday amid news of the ongoing investigation.
