Chelsea Handler took her attacks against President Donald Trump Wednesday to a new level, promoting a petition to impeach the president.
“Impeach Trump: Add Your Name,” the 42-year-old comedian and actress tweeted to her 8 million followers.

“Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, a co-author of the Federalist Papers–and an immigrant himself–argued that ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’ could be defined as “abuse or violation of some public trust.” This president has clearly already exceeded these standards. Congress has impeached past presidents for far less,” Steyer says on the petition site read.
Several people responded to the tweet by telling Handler that she was just wasting her time and reminded her that Trump hasn’t “even done anything to be impeached.”
No offense but you're wasting your time. It'll only happen if you let it happen naturally and he hasn't even done anything to be impeached ?

It was just the latest attack by the comedian who has been very outspoken against the president and his administration since he was sworn-in. Last week, she announced that she wouldn’t be returning next season for her Netflix talk show “Chelsea” and instead will spend her time “becoming a more knowledgeable and engaged citizen” because the president has “galvanized” her.
