New York City terrorist requests to hang the ISIS flag in hospital room

Despite being laid up in a hospital bed with bullet wounds, Sayfullo Saipov, the alleged terrorist who murdered at least 8 people with a rental truck in New York City on Tuesday, isn’t having any second thoughts about his apparent allegiance to the Islamic terrorist group ISIS.

So much so that Saipov reportedly told law enforcement officials that he wanted to display the ISIS flag in his hospital room.

In a criminal complaint obtained by TMZ, Saipov told investigating FBI agents that he “felt good about what he had done” and that the 90 ISIS videos, including several beheadings, found on his cellphone “inspired” the 29-year-old Uzbekistan immigrant to go forward with his murderous rampage.

Saipov would have liked to have displayed the flag on both the front and the back of his rental Home Depot truck, but ended up deciding against it because he didn’t want to draw attention, according to The Daily Beast.

He told law enforcement that he chose Halloween “because there would be more civilians on the street.”

If he hadn’t been stopped, the ISIS terrorist fully intended to “proceed to the Brooklyn Bridge to strike pedestrians.”

On Wednesday, a shackled and wheelchair-bound Saipov faced judge Barbara Moses in a preliminary hearing.
