Brother of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock was just arrested for the creepiest of crimes: Report

Bruce Paddock, the brother of Las Vegas mass murderer Stephen Paddock, was allegedly arrested in North Hollywood on Wednesday, according to multiple news reports.

The Associated Press confirmed the report, including Bruce Paddock’s family relationship to the purported perpetrator, who killed at least 58 people and injured over 500 others in what is the largest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

It was also reported by the LA Times:

As the LA Times reported, Bruce Paddock was taken in on suspicion of child pornography:

A brother of Las Vegas mass shooter Stephen Paddock has been detained in North Hollywood on suspicion of crimes related to child pornography, according to authorities.

Bruce Paddock was taken into custody in North Hollywood on Wednesday morning, according to a source who was not authorized to speak publicly about the case and requested anonymity.

The Times based its report on a source, but the LAPD had not yet confirmed the suspect’s identity:

The Los Angeles Police Department said a man was detained in the 5300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard on suspicion of crimes related to child pornography. However the LAPD would not reveal the name of the man.

The newest person to be accused of ‘sexual assault’ in scandal-struck Hollywood? George H.W. Bush

It is still unknown what motive drove Stephen Paddock to undertake what became a horrific mass murder that rivals the most heinous in U.S. history. If mental illness played any role, it now appears plausible that it might run in the family.
