Too far! English dept. covered in signs attacking Trump, students are being harassed by teachers

The University of Nebraska’s English Department has displayed several politically charged anti-Trump signs in the windows of its on-campus offices.

Campus Reform obtained images of Andrews Hall, where the department is located, showing banners with slogans such as “no ban,” “no wall,” and “resist” hung from inside office windows.

“Nothing in this country can mean anything without admitting it was founded on betrayal,” another sign states, while an additional poster declares Trump “the enemy,” though “not because he is orange but because he feasts on dreams.”

A similar sign calls for the “end of capitalism” accompanied by a final poster declaring that “they cannot kill this eternal veracity.”

Notably, professors from the very same English Department harassed and taunted the president of the school’s Turning Point USA chapter in August while she was tabling on campus to recruit for her group.

Chapter President Katie Mullen told Campus Reform at the time that at least three professors, including the English Department’s Amanda Gaily and Courtney Lawton, circled the table as they shouted phrases such as “f**k Charlie Kirk” and “TPUSA Nazis.”

“I was honestly shocked and scared. It shocks me that these are professors who are supposed to teach and support students, and they were bullying me,” Mullen remarked.

Campus Reform reached out to the university for comment on the signs, and is currently awaiting a response.
