A Florida doctor is under criminal investigation after video footage was seen of him arguing with a sick patient.
The patient’s daughter recorded the scene as her mother was yelled at and kicked out of the medical clinic by the doctor who became angry when she complained about the long wait to be seen.
Jessica Stipe shared the video of the doctor’s explosive reaction on her Facebook page Monday after the incident at the Gainesville After-Hours Clinic where she had gone because she was “severely sick.”
I’m severely sick and came to Gainesville after hours with a 6:30 appointment . By 7:45 was not seen still in severe pain and throwing up in the trash can . All they had me do was pee in a cup to see if I’m pregnant …. ummm I know I’m not … I asked for my co pay back so I could leave and go back home to bed and try to be seen elsewhere tomorrow because I’m just that miserable that all I want is my bed . The Dr was mad I wanted my co pay back and was unhappy with having to wait so long and proceeded to cuss me out . My daughter recorded it because they were so rude . When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby’s phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back . Gpd is here now but says we can’t press assault charges even though it’s all on tape because she has no injury .. wtf .. he took her phone and shoved her she is a minor …. never go there for medical care .

Stipe asked for her copay to be refunded so she could go to a different clinic the next day “because I’m just that miserable that all I want is my bed.”
She is seen on the video telling the physician, Peter Gallogly, that the clinic should tell people with appointments when they won’t be seen in a “timely manner.”
“Are you kidding me? Do you know how many people … I got seven rooms back there,” Gallogly snapped before asking her if she even wanted to be seen.
“I want to go home and get in my bed,” she replied as he told her to “get the hell out.”
“If you go to CareSpot, you’re waiting for three hours. Go to the ER and wait for nine hours,” the doctor yelled, pointing a finger at Stipe. “Get the f*** out of my office.”
He opened the door while continuing to tell Stipe to leave and then noticed her daughter was recording.
“When he saw it was being recorded he snatched my baby’s phone and shoved her when she tried to get it back,” Stipe wrote on Facebook. She noted that, though the police were there, they were unable to press charges because she has no injury.
“He took her phone and shoved her she is a minor,” Stipe wrote.

But later that night the Gainesville Police Department did open a criminal investigation, according to spokesman Officer Ben Tobias, Gainesville.com reported.
The Gainesville After-Hours Clinic’s website said on a since-deleted page that Gallogly graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2001 and completed his residency in family medicine at Alachua General Hospital.
Stipe’s video has been viewed over 200,000 times and has more than 3,000 shares.
