James Woods didn’t fail to spot the hypocrisy in the reported increase of security at Jimmy Kimmel‘s shows.
The late night television host has apparently beefed up security at tapings of his show since his recent political rants have reaped some consequences.
According to the Mercury News, “Ever since the late-night show host began crusading against the effort by President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans to repeal the Affordable Care Act, there have been “incidents with Trump supporters” that have forced him to increase security at his show tapings.”
This prompted just one question from conservative actor James Woods.
Surely not “armed” security…? https://t.co/ntObSTEcP4

Sources close “Jimmy Kimmel Live” told the website The Blast that the show has increased personnel consisting of highly-trained, off-duty police officers at both the front and back entrances of the studio.
And while many wouldn’t question security personnel carrying weapons in order to perform their duties, the fact that Kimmel unloaded a tear-filled lecture Monday following the Las Vegas massacre highlighted the double standard regularly used by liberals.
Following the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history that left 58 concert goers dead and over 500 injured, Kimmel said Republican lawmakers, “should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country.”
His remarks sparked backlash as the late-night host used his television platform to pontificate about gun rights while conveniently not revealing his own increased security measures. The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro condemned Kimmel’s comments and said he “should not be cheered for what he did.”

Kimmel’s push to save Obamacare and blast the Senate’s attempt at a repeal with the Republican Graham-Cassidy bill may have ended up alienating some of the show’s more conservative viewers, according to Salon which noted that Kimmel fans were split with 34 percent Democrat and 33 percent Republican viewers.
According to Salon:
In this, Kimmel may have also alienated some of his conservative viewers in the process. President Trump’s supporters enjoy mocking liberal safe spaces, but when a public person ridicules or critiques the current commander in chief, they often cry foul and boycott the messenger. Their flight may have already begun. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” had 2.04 million viewers last week during the heart of his health care fight, a 5 percent drop from his average. For the show’s future, it’s more than appreciable.
When it comes to gun rights, Kimmel apparently follows a “do as I say, not do as I do” approach which Woods drew attention to in his tweet.

I was wondering how many celebrities have “armed” body guards?! Hmmm…..

Once again, Hollywood elite yells for gun control but hires armed security, all while telling the average person they don’t deserve the same

Guns are bad, except when Liberals need protection — it really is some kind of fantasy land
