Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker isn’t the least bit concerned about fans who might be upset that he and his pampered millionaire friends refuse to stand along with ordinary Americans out of respect for our nation’s anthem and flag.
In fact, Walker’s ‘solution’ to fan anger is that they should skip coming to games altogether.
Does this guy know what State he’s playing in?
According to Jason Wolf of The Tennessean:
Don’t come to the game.
That’s the message a couple of the Titans’ star players have for any outraged fans threatening to turn their back on the team…
“First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Titans tight end Delanie Walker said…
“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”

That’s exactly what fans are beginning to do, with fan attendance and television ratings already at historic lows. But in the Volunteer State? Let’s just say we won’t be the least bit surprised to see more fans take Walker up on his offer than he or his bosses might be comfortable with.

You think? Laugh it up, Big Guy. If this Twitter response is a sign of things to come, it’s possible the people who sign your paycheck might end up getting the last laugh here.

MSNBC’s Chuck Todd gets one of America’s most basic founding principles so wrong it’s scary
As you might guess, we could literally go on and on with examples like this. Suffice it to say that fan attendance this Sunday might be VERY interesting.
