Oh.No.She.Dint. Actress Jane Fonda shut down Megyn Kelly when asked about her plastic surgeries in an awkward moment from the “Today Show.”
Fonda and her co-star, Robert Redford, were on the show to promote their new movie “Our Souls at Night.” For some reason, Kelly decided to ask Fonda about her numerous plastic surgeries before a live studio audience.
“Hanoi Jane” has previously admitted getting plastic surgery, but said she’s not proud of it because it stemmed from her pathological insecurity and and looks obsession.
”You’ve been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically,” Kelly said. “You admit you’ve had work done, which I think is to your credit. You look amazing. I read that you said you’re not proud to admit you’ve had work done. Why not?”
A stunned Fonda shot a disgusted look before retorting: “We really want to talk about that now?”
Kelly replied: “Well, one of the things people think when they look at you is how amazing you look.”
Fonda, 79, then shut down the topic by steering the conversation back to her movie. “Well, thanks,” she said. “Good attitude, good posture, I take care of myself. But let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, ‘Our Souls at Night,’ rather than plastic surgery.”

Fonda has admitted getting a face lift in her 40s and another one in 2010. She also got breast implants when she was younger and had a chin lift, as well as other surgeries to remove the bags under her eyes and smooth out her wrinkles.
In 2015, Fonda said she was ashamed that she was so neurotically obsessed with her appearance during her youth and middle age. Fonda has admitted that she suffered from anorexia and bulimia for decades.
“I did have plastic surgery,” she told W. “I’m not proud of the fact that I’ve had it. But I grew up so defined by my looks.”
Fonda continued: “I was taught to think that if I wanted to be loved, I had to be thin and pretty. That leads to a lot of trouble.”
Meanwhile, Megyn Kelly continues to underscore how horrible she is at being a talk-show host.
Anti-Trump moonbat Debra Messing, who appeared on Kelly’s show Tuesday, has already said she regrets going on the show after Megyn cracked a lame gay joke that fell flat.

Reviews and ratings for Kelly’s show have been disappointing. Since she has already alienated conservatives with her Trump-bashing, Megyn desperately needs liberals to warm up to her. But it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen, especially since she already ticked off communist queen bee “Hanoi” Jane Fonda.
