“Prince Harry and the devil signs” sound like a new titillating mystery novel, but it’s actually a reference to the prince meeting U.S. first lady Melania Trump this week at the Invictus Games 2017 in Toronto, Canada.
In one of a series of photos, Prince Harry is seen with his hand haphazardly tucked into his jacket. His middle and ring finger were tucked inside the jacket along with his thumb, while the two remaining fingers were on the outside.
In effect, according to social media users with FAR TOO MUCH time on their hands, a royal sign of devil horns.
And with that, the conspiracy theories flowed… and, boy, were there some doozies!
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:

People are saying Prince Harry's hand is a sign that he's the Devil.

Kudos to the one social media user who finally figured out what the prince was trying to convey!
“Ppl r making a fuss abt Prince Harry’s hand gesture, calling it free-masonic “devil”. Untrue. Just ILY (I love you) in sign language,” the tweet reads.
