Fired MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann wants NFL fans to disrespect the U.S. national anthem to protest President Trump. Like that’s gonna happen.
Olbermann forgets that the majority of NFL fans are right-leaning patriots who love their country and their flag.
The unhinged moonbat made the declaration on Twitter, writing: “This is simple: To defend OUR right to protest we as fans/consumers ALSO must not stand during the National Anthem until Trump’s threat ends.”
Olbermann was reacting to Trump’s suggestion that NFL owners fire football players who refuse to stand for the national anthem.
The president said the unpatriotic gestures disgust and turn off football fans, who watch sports to get away from divisive politics — not be lectured on leftist propaganda by clueless athletes who don’t even vote.
Trump’s observations are true: NFL attendance has tanked, as have TV ratings for NFL games in response to leftist temper tantrums.

After triggering leftist crybabies with his comments, President Trump doubled down on stance on Twitter.
“If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL, or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem,” Trump wrote. “If not, YOU’RE FIRED. Find something else to do!”
The president then reminded fans that they have the power to effect change. “If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag and Country, you will see change take place fast,” he tweeted. “Fire or suspend!”

Keith Olbermann’s career has been in freefall ever since he was dropped by MSNBC in 2011 amid rampant reports that he was impossible to work with. Olbermann’s unhinged liberal rants were apparently too much for even leftist MSNBC to tolerate.
Since Trump got elected, Olbermann has spent almost all his time bloviating against the billionaire mogul and his administration. Like most liberals, Olbermann is pathologically obsessed with Trump and can’t stop talking about him.
In a clear-cut case of psychological projection, Olbermann recently wrote a book called “Trump Is F*cking Crazy (This is not a joke).”
