History was made on “The Price is Right” as the television game show gave away the most money ever on the Wheel.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Drew Carey hosting the show, contestants were awarded a $10,000 bonus for spinning $1 on the Wheel instead of the usual $1,000. An additional $25,000 would be awarded to anyone who spun another $1.

On Friday, network television’s number one-rated daytime series set a record as five $1 spins on the Wheel resulted in a total giveaway of $80,000, stunning viewers and the contestants themselves.
