The world waits for a Cruz-like response.
The Internet went out of its collective mind on Tuesday after the Twitter account for Sen. Ted Cruz “liked” a porn video on Twitter.
The porn clip showed two women and one man in a rather graphic display of sexual activity.
And while it is probable that it was a staffer of Cruz’s that “liked” the video, it won’t stop the left and right from uniting to tease him as they did, and continue to do, on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, over in Ted Cruz’ likes. pic.twitter.com/BRlAPXfUkz

Soon Ted Cruz will wake up to this nightmarish PR situation. Wonder if he’ll be able to beat it? pic.twitter.com/uA7HUBrwI6

Somewhere Ted Cruz’s staff is trying to wake him up to unlike that video. But he’s sound asleep after watching it.

Q: Why was Twitter invented?
A: Because one night in the future, Ted Cruz will fave a porn tweet and Twitter will reach perfection

That’s all of us.
Famous for his quick wit on social media, the world waits to see if the Texas senator will respond to the brouhaha with one of his trademark witty responses.
In March he tweeted a link to a parody song titled “Friends In Safe Spaces” as a “tribute to snowflakes everywhere.”
Other recent examples included the Texas senator crushing a New York Times reporter, the website Deadspin and CNN with quick, epigrammatic retorts to their attacks on him.
And who can forget his hilarious response when actor Charlie Sheen suggested he and Cruz form a team to win the presidency in 2020.
And he will probably need a similar type of response to calm the tweetstorm of mockery surrounding this faux pas.
His team did respond by saying that the tweet had been unliked and the video reported to Twitter.
The offensive tweet posted on @tedcruz account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter

But we still await word from the man himself, and we have our fingers crossed that he will somehow make it as hilarious as it ought to be.
