Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA,’ makes you swell with pride as you watch highlights of POTUS in Texas

President Trump posted a heartfelt video to Twitter on Saturday of his time spent with the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Many Texans have lost everything in the wake of this terrible storm, but there was nothing but smiles as they posed for selfie’s with the President and First Lady.

His visit brought encouragement for these folks as they begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives. POTUS let them know, that they will not be forgotten and they will get the help they need to pick up the pieces and move on from this tragedy.

Several people told reporters that their opinion of Trump had changed after meeting him and they found him kind and reassuring. One man even said, “If he died and went to heaven today, he got to see the president.”

Next to you and defend her still today
Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA
From the lakes of Minnesota
