Serving in the military turns you into a racist.
That’s what a rambling op-ed in the Huffington Post boldly declared. HuffPo contributor David Fagin — who proudly calls himself a “Trump Resister” — said U.S. soldiers are all probably racist.
What’s the proof? He claims a few veterans of the Iraq-Afghanistan war were among the white nationalists who rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 12. Fagin wrote:
“To learn that these brave men and women over there return with a new-found hatred for those different from them, especially after their mission is one of liberation from those who kill and persecute anyone of different faiths/beliefs, is quite disturbing to say the least.”

Basically, Fagin is saying that because some vets are racist, all of them are. Meanwhile, leftist moonbats like him and the Huffington Post are always the first ones to declare that not all Muslims are terrorists even though almost all the terrorist attacks across Europe are committed by Muslims.
Fagin also tries to support his inane military-vets-are-racist argument by noting that one of his uncles (a former police officer) is racist. Huh? Since when does cop = military veteran?
“My uncle was a lieutenant in the NYPD for over 40 years,” Fagin wrote. “He was a kind and loving man. Unfortunately, patrolling the streets of the Bronx and Queens during the sixties and seventies, and seeing what human beings are capable of doing to each other, left him with a prejudice towards minorities.”
Fagin blatantly lied when he decried the “utter failure by our so-called Commander-in-Chief to condemn these hate groups.”
In fact, President Trump has repeatedly disavowed and condemned white supremacists, neo-Nazis, the alt-right, and all racism and violence by both the alt-left and the alt-right.
Most rational people ignore the anti-American propaganda spewed by left-wing rag the Huffington Post, but trashing patriots who risk their lives to protect our freedoms is a bridge too far.

It also underscores just how radical and extremist today’s liberals and Democrats have gotten. These are not the “cool liberals” of the 1960s, who fought actual racism.
Today’s liberals are communist fascists trying to shut down free speech and ignite a race war. Their nonstop defamation of a sitting United States president hurts the country, destroys morale, and damages our standing in the world. But what do you expect from alt-left Nazis?
