Juan Williams disgusts his co-hosts after he badmouths the military; sick rant shows true colors

Fox News host Juan Williams forgot to take off his tinfoil hat after the Deplorable Solar Eclipse because his brain was clearly fried.

Williams accused President Trump of ordering military action in Afghanistan to divert attention away from the media-driven PR debacle in Charlottesville.

“I’m thinking maybe it was the eclipse, because it seems you’re blind to the realities,” Williams said to his co-hosts on The Five (see video below).

During his incoherent rambling, Williams suggested Trump used Afghanistan to turn the page on Charlottesville.

Liberals had slammed Trump for condemning the violence of both the alt-left and the alt-right after violence erupted at a gathering of 100 white supremacists last week.

Donald Trump finds this opportune moment to use [the military] as a toy to say, ‘You know that stuff I was saying, when I didn’t understand what Nazis and white supremacists and neo-nazis was about? I forgot what World War II was about? And when real American patriots shed blood to fight those Nazis? There was no equivalence.’ No, no, no. But he didn’t say that. Instead, now he’s saying, ‘Oh yeah, so you know what? … This is brand-new.’

This to me is the absolute most cheap use of our military from a guy who was in a hole and has damaged his presidency in a way that he will not recover.

Williams’ argument is inane because Trump has been discussing Afghanistan with his White House chief of staff, General John Kelly, and his Defense Secretary, General James Mattis, for months.

Trump has also commented on Afghanistan for years, so he didn’t need to “invent a crisis” in the Muslim cesspool to create a distraction.

An annoyed Greg Gutfeld groaned: “That’s nonsense …. These guys know more about loss than you do, Juan.”

WH chief of staff General John Kelly — who served 40 years in the Marines — is a Gold Star dad whose son was killed in Afghanistan in 2010. It’s ridiculous to suggest he would approve sending soldiers into battle for frivolous PR purposes.

Kimberly Guilfoyle — a former prosecutor whom President Trump regularly consults — also trashed Williams for marginalizing the military and the 16-year war on terrorism the U.S. has been fighting in Afghanistan.

“It’s very disingenuous to suggest that the president of the United States would squander lives to try to get himself out of a political pickle,” Guilfoyle said. “He has been working on a strategy for Afghanistan [for a while].”

Unfortunately, Trump has to take military action in Afghanistan because Obama didn’t get the job done, despite making promises in 2013.

Williams must have confused Trump with his hero — former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — who lied when she blamed an anti-Islam video for the 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi by Muslim terrorists.

Not surprisingly, Twitter reacted quickly to shut down the delusional Juan Williams.
