Steve Bannon is out at the White House.
As the news breaks, sources are varied as to precisely what happened.
According to Circa’s Sara A. Carter, Bannon told her he resigned from his position as White House chief strategist two weeks ago.

But the New York Times reported that President Donald Trump informed his aides that he was firing Bannon.
President Trump has told senior aides that he has decided to remove Stephen K. Bannon, the embattled White House chief strategist who helped Mr. Trump win the 2016 election, according to two administration officials briefed on the discussion.
The president and senior White House officials were debating when and how to dismiss Mr. Bannon. The two administration officials cautioned that Mr. Trump is known to be averse to confrontation within his inner circle, and could decide to keep on Mr. Bannon for some time.
As of Friday morning, the two men were still discussing Mr. Bannon’s future, the officials said. A person close to Mr. Bannon insisted the parting of ways was his idea, and that he had submitted his resignation to the president on Aug. 7, to be announced at the start of this week, but it was delayed in the wake of the racial unrest in Charlottesville, Va.
Either way, senior White House officials have confirmed that Bannon is out.
“White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Steve Bannon have mutually agreed today would be Steve’s last day,” a statement from White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read. “We are grateful for his service and wish him the best.”

The firing, or resignation, came days after Bannon went on a tirade with a reporter where he contradicted the president’s position on North Korea.
Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci correctly predicted the demise of Bannon on Sunday.
And the social media response was swift.
Firing of Steve Bannon proves that what we are doing is working. Thank u to everyone for everything. Patriots, all of you. ?? #TheResistance

I hope Bannon returns to Breitbart immediately.
He can have a far bigger influence than what he was restricted to in the White House.

Looks like Bannon may be out of the WH. Great guy, had become a distraction. He can better serve Trump on the outside.

Bannon will not be denied access to President Trump, in fact his access will become more covert and off book a la Dick Morris https://t.co/mHwWPsnNrv

And, could this be the real reason Bannon is out?
