As if things are not chaotic enough, “Morning Joe” co-host Willie Geist is looking to stir things up even more.
…because there’s a “moral imperative” to replace President Donald Trump in 2020.
Seizing on the controversy over Trump’s response to the violent protests in Charlottesville, where the president had the audacity to remind the press that there were two sides engaged in the violence, Geist posted a tweet suggesting a primary challenger for Trump in 2020.
“NEW: Sources close to @JohnKasich tell me, after Charlottesville, there is growing sense of “moral imperative” to primary Trump in 2020,” he tweeted.

But if Ohio Gov. John Kasich is considering primarying Trump, he apparently didn’t look at the polls.
A new Marist poll out Tuesday ran this potential match-up in the GOP primary and Trump easily prevailed, garnering 64 percent of the vote, compared to just 23 percent for Kasich.
Romney sides with Antifa over Trump; Ann Coulter comes out swinging at him … and she had backup
New Marist poll today actually tested this potential GOP primary:

Kasich 23%https://t.co/6nNBIr4e3g https://t.co/DR8lXehURQ— Steve Kornacki (@SteveKornacki) August 16, 2017
According to the results, it would appear the media has a lot more smearing to do if they hope to be done with Trump in 2020.
Former TV personality Montel Williams is all in for a Kasich run, but he’s concerned that 2020 may never come.
“Enthusiastically hope @JohnKasich runs – I’ll enthusiastically vote for him, but someone needs to explain to me how we make it to 2020,” he tweeted:

Kasich’s better off running in the Democrat primary.

Kasich has been running against Trump since Nov. This is nothing new. Every thing he says, every fundraising email he sends, points to it.
