The Leftists who are hellbent on erasing history by removing statues across the country that offend their delicate sentimentalities surely have the purist motives at heart.
So, since the ‘traitor’ Robert E. Lee has to go, along with all his dastardly cohorts, surely antifa wouldn’t have a problem with removing a statue of a man who actually murdered millions as the head of a totalitarian regime. After all, these people really only want to pet puppies and help degenerate ‘racists’ see the light, or something, right?
Right wing activist Jack Posobiec personally tested that theory by flying to Seattle to demand the removal of a statue of one Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, or Vladimir Lenin for short, a man who is responsible for the death of many millions as the first head of Soviet Russia.
Posobiec, along with several other brave activists, made anti-Communism signs and headed to the statue to make their point.
Created by sculptor Emil Venkov and originally set in Czechoslovakia until the collapse of the former Soviet Union, the 18-foot-tall bronze statue of Lenin was put on display by Seattle’s Fremont District after businessman Lewis Cooper, who brought it to Seattle, died in a car crash and the family couldn’t sell it.
So many other things are considered ‘hate,’ the lowest form of evil, by the Left – expressing unpopular opinions, supporting President Trump, respecting free speech (even if we don’t necessarily like it) – that surely a man who murdered millions might be considered ‘evil’ too…
“Alt Left Marxist organizations have committed a campaign of violent terrorism against peaceful American citizens for over 14 months. From the 2016 conventions to the presidential inauguration to the events of Berkeley and Charlottesville, these domestic terrorists known as Antifa have gone largely unpunished and underreported in the wake of their evil,” Posobiec told Big League Politics.
“The hate statue of Russian Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin is worshiped as an idol of the Marxist terror movement. Marxism is responsible for over 100 million deaths, the enslavement of billions, and nearly brought the world into nuclear war. Marxist bigoted and racist regimes committed genocide after genocide during their hateful reign, against the Jews, the Poles, Ukrainians, gypsies, Cubans, Koreans, Cambodians, Tibetans, Muslims, and many others,” said Posobiec. “Marxist hate squads hunted down homosexuals and subjected them to horrific ends in Soviet gulags.”
“This statue represents Marxist hatred, bigotry, and genocide, a disgusting ideology that has no place in our society. Therefore, we call up the people of this country to demand this hateful statue be taken down and disposed of – hate has no place in our American nation,” said Posobiec.
Will antifa and other Lefties join him in condemning this statue? Surely there is cause for common ground…
Yeah, don’t hold your breath!
Seattle has a statue of Lenin, a man who sent thousands of innocents to die in labor camps.
So I'm just gonna go pull it down. Cool? pic.twitter.com/MZfkHjw59a
