President Donald Trump was quick to respond on Monday when Merck & Co. Chief Executive Kenneth Frazier quit the president’s manufacturing council.
Saying it was “a matter of personal conscience,” Frazier, an African-American, quit over Trump’s failure to condemn white supremacists, according to CNN Money.
Frazier said in a statement: “America’s leaders must honor our fundamental values by clearly rejecting expressions of hatred, bigotry and group supremacy.”
Trump took to Twitter soon after to say: “Now that Ken Frazier of Merck Pharma has resigned from President’s Manufacturing Council,he will have more time to LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!”

The tweet is sure to prompt critics to pounce on Trump for being Trump.
Just this morning, the MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” crew took exception to the president’s response to the violence in Charlottesville, calling the president a “pathetic sniveling little man.”
Trump made a televised statement Sunday condemning “in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides.”
Adhering to the Democratic talking points, regular guest Donny Deutsch hit Trump hard for not denouncing white supremacy by name.
‘What a pathetic sniveling little man our president is,’ Deutsch said of Trump.

Never mind that when President Barack Obama released a statement following the death of nine black parishioners in Charleston, S.C., by a white supremacist, he didn’t meet the exacting standard now being applied to Trump.
The former president spoke about overcoming the “old vestiges of hatred,” and talked at length about “the issues of gun violence,” but did not denounce white supremacy in his remarks.
Of course, Trump’s real sin in the eyes of the left is his comment included the army of Antifa antagonists in Charlottesville who weren’t about to let the day pass peacefully.
