Congresswoman Maxine Waters‘ tinfoil-hat obstructionism has inspired countless James Brown wig memes and one gospel song.
The tune, called “Reclaiming My Time,” was written by manbun-wearing New York City singer Mykal Kilgore. Kilgore was inspired to write the jingle after seeing a TV exchange between the 13-term California congresswoman and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
At a Congressional hearing last week, Waters, 78, asked Mnuchin why his agency had not responded to an inquiry she sent about the Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
When Mnuchin didn’t immediately answer the question but made a series of statements, the defensive Waters got angry because she thought he was trying to run down her time.
At that point, Waters snarkily chanted: “Reclaiming my time, reclaiming my time, reclaiming my time.”
Naturally, struggling artists like singer Mykal Kilgore tried to capitalize on the moment by posting a YouTube video of himself singing his new song.
In the video description, Kilgore wrote: “Our beloved ‘Auntie’ Maxine Waters laid this sermon down so good that I had to sing about it!”
Kilgore, who actually has a great voice, then praised Waters’ dingbat obstructionism.

It’s baffling that Maxine Waters has emerged as a “hero” for obstructing a duly-elected United States president given her history of accomplishing nothing for her community or for black-Americans.
The grifter doesn’t even live in the extremely poor California district she represents!
Supporters obviously are not aware of her long history of using her political position to enrich herself and her family.
In June, a black female Trump supporter eviscerated Congresswoman Waters, saying her pro-illegal immigration policies have destroyed the black community.
“You are a black racist! You hate blacks! ” the woman shouted at Waters.
“You gave our jobs to illegals! We want you out! She’s been in office for too long! She’s already showing signs of dementia! She’s a hater!”
During her 40 years in political office, Maxine Waters has done little to help her constituents. In April 2017, she came under fire after FEC reports revealed she had paid her daughter Karen Waters a staggering $750,000 to oversee a cushy mailer campaign.
Waters has repeatedly been rated one of the “most corrupt” members of Congress by the George Soros-funded liberal watchdog CREW (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington).
In 2008, Waters was charged with three counts of ethical violations after allegedly helping OneUnited Bank secure $12 million in federal bailout funds while hiding the fact that her husband owned stock in the bank.
Meanwhile, Waters goes on TV every day and accuses President Trump of being corrupt.
