After his hasty ouster as White House communications director on Monday, Anthony Scaramucci was reportedly escorted off White House grounds.
According to CNN’s Jeff Zelany, who appeared on Monday with host Brooke Baldwin to discuss the dismissal, Scaramucci was “essentially escorted off the White House property earlier this afternoon.”
Zelany also said that Chief of Staff John Kelly decided to dismiss him for a lack of “discipline” that culminated in a profanity-laced tirade to The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza.
“We are told by our producers, our team, that he was escorted off,” Zelany said. “That’s not necessarily unusual. If someone is no longer working here, he has no reason to be here. We are told he was escorted off the property earlier this afternoon. The question is what happens next?”
CBS’s Jackie Alemany also confirmed the report via Twitter:
Katy Tur said she talked to Mooch this a.m. & he told her he was willing to report to Kelly b/c he’d do anything for Trump b/c he loved him.

Needless to say, Twitter users made plenty of hay out of Scaramucci’s rocky tenure and abrupt dismissal.

Love to sell my business and get divorced by my 9 months pregnant wife to get a job working for Mr. Trump, then get fired 10 days later

In all seriousness, this is a sad story. Not a laugher. Guy sold his company, divorced his wife, didn’t see his kid's birth, for…. this.
