Kat Timpf, a co-host of the “Fox News Specialists,” unloaded on Twitter after a guy assaulted her with a bottle of water in Brooklyn, New York.
Timpf was scheduled to speak at an event held by political commentator (and frequent FNC guest) Ben Kissel, who’s running for Brooklyn borough president. That’s when a lunatic dumped an entire 1.5-liter bottle of water on her and then scurried away like a coward.
“He knows I’m here, dumps an entire 1.5 liter bottle of water on me, first on my head,” Timpf tweeted. “And then I turn to look and he splashes it directly on my face and runs out.”
Timpf had to cancel her speech and said the perp never even told her why he assaulted her. “I end up not being able to speak because of it,” she said. “I’ve never seen a more disgusting, insane, cruel climate than the one we’re in now.”
She added: “Everyone needs to do better than this infantile bullsh*t because I, for one, have had it with senseless hostility.”

Timpf expressed her outrage that people now feel free to assault someone in public simply because they disagree with them politically.

Fellow cable news personalities offered their sympathies to Kat Timpf, including Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera and even CNN’s resident leftist Jake Tapper.
Dude that blindsided @KatTimpf is a piece of shit. Want to meet him someday
— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) July 25, 2017
That is unacceptable and disgusting. I’m sorry you went thought that. He was a coward and a loser. Stay strong. ??
— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) July 25, 2017
While the incident may seem harmless because Timpf wasn’t hurt, it spotlights the growing appetite for violence on the left. Kat could easily have been the victim of an acid attack (which are soaring in Muslim-haven London) or a vicious stabbing.
We don’t know if the perpetrator was a liberal, but the event was held in Brooklyn, which is a leftist den of virulent anti-Trumpers.
Timpf is not a Democrat. In fact, she’s not even a Republican; she’s a libertarian who has frequently criticized President Trump. But it’s likely her attacker targeted her because she works at Fox News and believes she’s a Trump supporter. Who knows?
In any case, it’s a sad statement on today’s alarming partisan climate when the left “protests” a duly-elected president by setting fires, vandalizing buildings, and beating people up simply because of their political views. Timpf is right: It’s time to end this “infantile bullsh*t.”
