Newly-minted White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci seems to be an articulate, poised, focused smooth operator who will have an excellent shot to succeed at getting and keeping the White House on message.
And if the way he’s handled the discrepancies in his own past views on then-candidate Trump and even current Trump Administration policies is any indication, his future is indeed a bright one.
First, Scaramucci had some ‘splainin’ to do for calling Trump a “bully” and a “hack politician” on the Fox Business Network back in 2015.
A bit of humor and self-deprecation, and we’ve already moved on.
But there’s also the matter of Scaramucci’s Twitter account and an internet that lasts forever. After all, the then-Wall Street financier had and may even still have some liberal views on issues like climate change, abortion, the border wall, gay marriage, and plenty of other hot-button topics.
In fact, the Washington Examiner reports that Scaramucci tweeted this in November 2011: “I am not a partisan, just practical. I voted for Clinton and Obama.”
So, what to do about potentially embarrassing past tweets? Why purge them, of course, but be open and up front about it. You might take a few lumps in the short-term, but the long-haul will be a much easier one.
Full transparency: I'm deleting old tweets. Past views evolved & shouldn't be a distraction. I serve @POTUS agenda & that's all that matters

Check! Of course, plenty of liberal Twitterers were quick to give Scaramucci his short-term lumps:
Full transparency; they’ve all been saved in screen shots and will surface continuously. Have a nice day

Thank you to those who have sent more in. Don’t want to be a bother, but you wouldn’t want people to forget, would you Anthony? pic.twitter.com/J7sU0FBrk2

That’s not actually full transparency.

Hey Tony. Looks like you deleted this one after I posted it. Weird. Here it is: pic.twitter.com/izUbCuIMWN

It’s amazing that people are willing to sell their souls for 2 Trump branded steaks and a flight voucher for Trump airlines.

And so it continued… but former Secret Service Agent and media figure Dan Bongino tweeted the perfect retort:

And got lots of agreement from the right…
And don’t forget the DNC has yet to turn over their server! This 2-tier justice system will be the demise of our nation thx to the Deep state

The Dem lack of balance and perspective indicates real mental disorders. Either that or a determined effort to pervert the truth.
