President Donald Trump may have set the stage for non-politicians getting elected to office, but Kid Rock, who has spent much of his life on a stage, is going to take that to a whole new level.
…of good old-fashioned American wholesomeness.
Looking to take an early jab at Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, the potential candidate took to social media with an epic tweet that you just know is foreign ground in the elitist upper chamber.
Sharing a photo of a delicious looking burger, a couple of ears of corn and a beer, in this case Detroit-made Stroh’s straight from the bottle, Kid Rock added: “Dinner time at my house. What do you think Schumer is spoon-feeding Stabenow tonight?”

Social media loved it! The effort gives rise to hopes voters may see a little genuine honesty for a change, instead of more of the same robotics dictated by focus groups, should the rocker, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, decide to actually run.
If so, as one social media user noted, this promises to “be the best election ever!!!”
This is going to be the best election ever!!!

Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter:
This was my meal every night visiting my cousins in Michigan. (Well, this or cornish pasties.) https://t.co/A8l4hmBBnx

I mean, Stroh's straight from the bottle is the move of someone who is serious about running in Michigan. https://t.co/dLL1ST0u72

I am concerned about your diet Mr. Rock. What kind of fruity-liberal has something green on his dinner plate? Might as well be a salad. Jeez https://t.co/wp5AgrW3G5

Is it just me, or is Mr. Rock preparing his social media to become the next president??? https://t.co/eTMAvcovFY

If I didn’t have to stay in #Massachusetts to fight @SenWarren I’d be on my way to #Michigan in #2018 to vote for you!

Ooh! Sterling silver salt and pepper shakers and butter on an actual butter dish with a silver butter knife. #KidRockIsFancy

Somewhat surprisingly, some took issue with what time Kid Rock was having dinner… a little too early, you think?
Says the guy eating dinner at 5 in the afternoon…. https://t.co/SoJLp1mONm

And burger aficionados saw fit to diss the cheeseburger Kid Rock was serving up:
that is one sad-ass burger https://t.co/p8e6Tc47Mh
