Feel the love? Just hours into the new job, Scaramucci sends media into meltdown with an ‘air kiss’

Newly named White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci held his first press conference in his new role amid the tumult at the White House on Friday.

And while his answers to press questions may not have created any new controversies, Scaramucci’s exit caused the media to collectively lose its mind.

As Scaramucci left the podium, he blew the members of the Washington press corps an air kiss.

Not much can be said to elaborate on that, but the reactions were hilarious.

President Trump’s appointment of Scaramucci to his new position apparently prompted the exit of former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer who told Fox News’ Sean Hannity he felt there were “too many cooks” in the White House if he remained in his position.

With Spicer’s departure Friday, his former deputy Sarah Huckabee Sanders was promoted to replace him in his former role.

Reporters wasted no time pressing Scaramucci on his past criticism of Trump as a “hack politician.” The wealthy 53 year-old financier said that was “one of the biggest mistakes that I made” and apologized “for the 50th time.”
