Hillary ally says Russia major threat & should bomb KGB, but that wasn’t his stance during Obama reign

Democrats continue to escalate their hostility toward Russia, where they once seemed indifferent to the nation they are now actually calling for bombing as a retaliation for alleged meddling in the U.S. election.

Like many of his Democratic cohorts, CNN commentator and Clinton ally Paul Begala once laughed off threats of Russian interference but now has had a change of heart, calling for the U.S. to take more severe action.

“We were and are under attack by a hostile foreign power, and they seem to be abetting that hostile foreign power,” Begala said on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” Thursday.

“We should be debating how many sanctions we should place on Russia or whether we should blow up the KGB, GSU, or GRU [Russia’s foreign military intelligence agency],” he added. “We should be retaliating massively because, by the way, if I were a Trump supporter I would want to retaliate massively because it has tainted his victory.”

The CNN panel was discussing Donald Trump, Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer in 2016 when Begala made his remarks about “retaliating massively,” against Russia.

“No patriotic American should subvert an election, with a hostile foreign power,” he said, referring to what he believes Trump Jr. was doing.

But the Democratic strategist and former counselor to President Bill Clinton was singing a different Russian tune back in 2012.  Begala joined his fellow liberals in praising former President Obama’s mockery of Mitt Romney who called Russia “our No. 1 geopolitical foe.”

But the humor was gone by the end of 2016 when Begala tweeted that he – and Obama – had been wrong.

Quite a turn around by Begala, and many other Democrats, who are now swinging in the other direction in their Russia hysteria.
