Maxine Waters questions your patriotism, gets answers from Trump

Dem. Rep. Maxine Waters is not satisfied with her incessant attacks on President Donald Trump. She has decided to bring the entire Republican Party into it.

During an appearance on MSNBC on Saturday, Waters was angry that the president did exactly what Democrats wanted him to do. Confront Russian President Vladimir Putin on his government’s alleged interference with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The California Rep., known mainly for shrieking about impeaching the president, said she is questioning the patriotism of Republicans in the House and Senate.

“I’m questioning the patriotism of all of those Republicans who are allowing this president to side with Putin, to wrap his arms around Putin, and let Putin say ‘No, I didn’t do it. And you don’t have any proof that I did it. So forget it, let’s move on,'” she said.

Because somehow meeting with Putin, and immediately questioning his involvement with the election, equates to siding with him.

By that logic, former President Obama sided with Cuban despot Raul Castro and, yes, Putin himself.

But logic and Waters are diametrically opposed.

“He went into this meeting with no note takers, no state people. And just he and [Secretary of State] Tillerson,” she said. “They basically brought up the subject. Did not delve very deeply into why Putin and the people in the Kremlin and others may have been involved in this hacking. They didn’t talk about our intelligence agencies, 17 of them who have concluded that, yes they were involved in the hacking, the undermining of our elections.”

Two questions for Waters.

If there were no note takers how does she know what happened in the meeting?

And has she read all of the retractions of the lie that 17 intelligence agencies had concluded that Russia hacked the election?

On Sunday the president gave some insight into what he and Putin discussed when they met. And it included the accusation that Russia attempted to interfere in the presidential election.
