One photo of Ivanka Trump at the G20 summit causes a stir, tagged as ‘disturbing,’ Angela Merkel defends it

Haters of President Donald Trump went out of their minds on Saturday at the sight of Ivanka Trump sitting in for her father briefly at the G20 summit.

It appeared that many went into rage mode before they read the reason why the first daughter was seated among world leaders during a speech.

They might have noted that she stepped in when the president of the World Bank spoke about topics directly related to a new women’s entrepreneurship fund that was spearheaded by the eldest first daughter and the World Bank, the Associated Press reported.

A spokesman for the White House told the Associated Press that Ivanka Trump stepping in for her father was not out of the ordinary, as other world leaders had people in their delegations take their place when they stepped out.

The first daughter stepped in at a point when the talk was geared toward “areas such as African development – areas that will benefit from the facility just announced by the World Bank,” the source said.

A point supported by lefty favorite, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who said she had no issues with it.

“Ivanka Trump belonged to the American delegation, so that is in line with what other delegations do. And it is known that she works at the White House and carries responsibility for certain initiatives,” she told reporters.

But the sight of Ivanka Trump seated with world leaders like Britain’s Theresa May, China’s Xi Jinping and Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, sent leftists over the edge.

Leftists like Charles M. Blow of the Daily News who apparently has no idea that other nations do the same thing.

And feminist Amy Siskind, who likened the move to that of a dictatorship.

The photo of Ivanka sitting with the world leaders was shared on social media by Russian sherpa Svetlana Lukash, which gave the #Resistance another talking point.

But they didn’t need Russia to help them have a fit of rage.

Her mere presence was enough to trigger those who are still smarting from the election of President Trump.

Correct Scott. Unless you count the presidential election.
