Protesters arrested at Rep’s office for trespassing, assassination threat against Republicans. So, where’s the media?

A healthcare-related protest directed at Arizona Senator Jeff Flake’s Tuscon office took quite a turn on Thursday morning when Pima County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men for reported threats.

One of which, disgustingly, allegedly referred to the June shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise.

According to KGUN9, deputies say 59-year-old Mark Prichard was arrested after coming back onto the property after being told he wasn’t allowed.

Lib media furious when Polish announcer ‘cuts off’ NBC reporter at Trump presser: ‘Dear lady…’

Here’s the exchange that initially got him booted, as related by Sen. Flake’s office:

Prichard: You know how liberals are going to solve the Republican problem?
Staffer: No.
Him: They are going to get better aim. That last guy tried, but he needed better aim. We will get better aim.

So, instead of just third degree criminal trespass, Prichard will also face charges of threats and intimidation, both class 1 misdemeanors.

Later in the day, 70-year-old Patrick Diehl was also arrested for third degree criminal trespass after he allegedly tried to force his way into the office.

A statement from the department reads:

Upon further review of the evidence and statements made by Mark Prichard to the staff at Sen Flake’s office, he has also been charged with Threats and Intimidation (Class 1 Misdemeanor) on top of the 3rd Degree Criminal Trespass charge.

Flake spokesman Jason Samuels told KGUN9 that Capitol Police have been informed about the matter.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, Newsbusters reports that NBC Correspondent Kasie Hunt was the only network news reporter to mention Prichard’s threat during her NBC Nightly News segment. Here’s what she said:

Outside of Republican Senator Jeff Flake’s Tucson office, two people arrested. A staff member alleging one alluded to the shooting of Minority Whip [sic] Steve Scalise. Saying quote: “You know how liberals are going to solve the Republican problem? They’re going to get better aim.”

There was no mention of Prichard’s repeated intimidation nor any mention of Diehl by NBC, Newbusters reported.

While CBS did cover the protests, focusing on outrage aimed at the GOP for repealing Obamacare, they omitted the incidents entirely.
