One could almost start to feel sorry for CNN with its daily rake stepping.
As the network continued its battle with President Trump, it sought to get past the firestorm created by its veiled threat against the social media user who created the parody wrestling video of the president and the CNN logo.
Then CNN host Chris Cuomo went ahead and told the New York Times that his job was like entering the setting of steel-cage fighting in the “Mad Max” movies’ Thunderdome.

Cuomo joined the ranks of NBC’s Katy Tur who famously likened journalists to firefighters bravely running into fires.

Twitter was merciless in its response to Cuomo.
Yes, you have it so tough. ?

Bunch of quivering lip pansies trying to pretend they are dealing with real adversity. Truly pathetic.

So is it Thunderdome or firefighters rushing into the flames? Just so I can tell journos in Syria how brave it is to work in Columbus Circle https://t.co/GC6J7d6byg

Try facts. Those are pretty easy to deal with.

“Thunderdome”!!! ???? Don’t mess-up your manicure, hero.
— Paul Foster (@pfoster19) July 6, 2017
Ironic that the theme song from Thunderdome is: We Don’t Need Another Hero.
