Sunday fun for libs: Anti-Trump thugs keep police busy as coast to coast protests turn ugly

On Sunday protesters from coast-to-coast gathered to call for President Trump’s impeachment — and not all of them were friendly.

In fact, in Los Angeles, they even appeared to call for an end to the presidency altogether. Revelers there carted a black coffin festooned with red, white and blue flowers with the message “The Presidency 1789-2017.”

In New York City protesters met at — where else? — Trump Tower.

Hundreds of anti-Trump protesters gathered at the Texas capitol and marched to the Austin City Hall to also show their disapproval of the administration. They were met by Trump supporters along the way.

The scene was much the same in San Francisco — Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s bailiwick — where protesters chanted, “What do we want? Impeachment! When do we want it? Now!” according to NBC News.

Original, huh? Nope! Liberals have been chanting that same message since the sixties.

In city after city, while clearer heads were celebrating our country’s 241st birthday with family get-togethers and backyard barbecues, the far-left loons screamed a far different message — impeach the president.

Aside from the odd punch thrown here and there, the demonstrations remained peaceful for the most part in a majority of the cities — except in Philadelphia — known ironically as the City of Brotherly Love.

Things started out peacefully enough with protesters marched and chanted the now-familiar, “No KKK no fascist USA, no Trump.”

But then they got way out of hand and the police, who had been there to merely observe, had to step in and take control.

That wasn’t quite the aftermath of the disturbance. At least one Trump supporter ended up with a bloodied head.

All of which begs the question — what’s the difference in violence here and abroad? Not all that much.
