CNN is continuing its unbroken streak of peddling fake news in its self-destructive attempts to destroy President Trump.
After a horrendous two weeks of humiliating gaffes, CNN capped the week off by airing a FAKE National Enquirer cover of Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi during Jake Tapper‘s show on Friday.
The inexcusable lapse occurred during a segment Tapper did where he repeated Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski’s dubious claim that Trump had tried to “blackmail” them with a hit piece in the National Enquirer.
The president has been involved in an ongoing feud with the MSNBC couple after mocking Mika’s facelift following months of ugly personal attacks by Brzezinski.
CNN — which proclaims itself “the most trusted name in news” — aired the fake National Enquirer cover detailing a bogus sex scandal involving Senator Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi.
The tabloid NEVER published such a cover, which teased details of a “sordid threesome.”
CNN executives are now reportedly in a panic after suffering a series of embarrassing editorial blunders all week. Sources told Page Six CNN is investigating the matter, which “has been referred to the network’s standards and practices department for review.”
The latest journalistic flub occurred just two days after Van Jones admitted that the Trump-Russia ruse that CNN has been aggressively pushing is a “big nothing burger.”
A day before that, a veteran CNN producer admitted that the network is intentionally shilling the Trump-Russia hoax even though there’s no evidence because the fake story line is a cash cow for CNN.
On June 30, a CNN producer for Chris Cuomo‘s show was caught on video calling American voters (and CNN viewers) “stupid as sh*t.” Last week, three CNN reporters were fired after publishing a bogus story linking former Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci to the Russia investigations.
All these incidents have blown the lid off CNN as a so-called objective news source. The public is now increasingly aware that CNN is a leftist shiller of propaganda with a clear anti-Trump agenda.
Not surprisingly, CNN was mocked on Twitter for its latest fake news blunder. Don’t worry. There’s more to come.
