Orrin Hatch hilariously trolls PETA when they dare to shame America’s bacon lovers

When PETA dared to challenge bacon lovers to defend the product, things went about as expected.

The animal rights organization asked Twitter users to share why they eat bacon in a tweet on Wednesday.

Bacon lovers obliged and responses poured in. None, however, seemed to top one from Sen. Orrin Hatch.

How can you top the American flag?

Hatch’s office wasn’t done and shared a few more pro-bacon tweets from the Utah Republican.

City of Chicago just erected a not-so-subtle gold statue in front of Trump Tower

Hatch didn’t miss a beat when one Twitter user had a less than enthusiastic response to his photo.

And while Hatch seemed to win the internet with his ode to bacon, he was not alone. PETA’s attempt at bacon shaming may have backfired as the countless tweets probably sent more people in search of yummy bacon goodness instead.
