Florida police have some advice for would-be thieves like the one caught by a recent surveillance camera.
“Don’t be caught with your pants down.”
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office posted the warning on Facebook along with video showing a suspect allegedly stealing items from a parked car.
Camera footage showed two men breaking into a car in a West Palm Beach neighborhood on June 18.
As another car began to drive by, the suspects seem to attempt getting away but one man was tripped by his own pants and took a header into the getaway vehicle.
The PBSO post on Facebook was captioned, “Don’t be caught with your pants down. Lock your cars.”

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office seemed to have some fun with the video and posted a message on Twitter featuring the footage.
“Stethoscope: $500. Coins: $1.12,” the tweet was captioned. “Local Sheriff’s TROLLING you because your pants fell during your get-a-way: PRICELESS.”
