Actions by the Democratic National Committee were likened to an “ultimate political Ponzi scheme” by an attorney representing Bernie Sanders donors.
Attorney Jared Beck is part of the legal team representing Sanders supporters in a class action lawsuit against the DNC alleging fraud, negligent misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, and a consumer protection violation, Breitbart reported.

Leaked emails from 2016 hacks of the DNC appeared to show a bias for Hillary Clinton’s primary campaign while undermining that of rival Sanders. The lack of impartiality by the DNC is what set off donors who assumed their contributions were being used fairly.
The law firm, Beck & Lee Trial Lawyers, accused former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s office earlier this month of calling the attorney’s office and using a voice-altering device.
“The incident was startling at the time it happened and we are still very puzzled and concerned by it,” Beck told Breitbart. “The caller had altered his or her voice to be unrecognizable, and refused to identify themselves.”

Beck slammed the actions of the Democratic National Committee as being misleading and as fraudulent as a Ponzi scheme.
“I would think of this as a case against the ultimate political Ponzi scheme. We are used to the concept of Ponzi schemes in the investment world,” Beck said. “In my view, the DNC is really no different: it was purporting to be “selling” a fair primary process but in reality was serving as a front for the Hillary Clinton campaign. People lost well over $200 million as a result.”
Beck further explained that the goals of the case were to obtain justice for those who trusted the DNC with their contributions and also, through a trial, uncovering the truth of what happened to the public.
