White House puts certain reporters in ‘Siberia’ and they get the message loud and clear

The pampered, entitled “journalists” at CNN and the New York Times are upset that they were relegated to the back row at a joint press conference in the Rose Garden Friday with President Trump and Romanian president Klaus Iohannis.

The New York Times, CNN, and Bloomberg were forced to sit in the back with anti-Trump Spanish-language network Univision at the outdoor presser.

It’s a far cry from the enviable front-row seats the mainstream media giants usually get at White House press events.

CNN pundit Jim Acosta whined that the unfavorable seating seemed like a deliberate snub. “CNN was placed away from the other TV networks in the equivalent of Siberia (no pun intended) at today’s news conference,” he tweeted. “This may just be an oversight by WH staff. But it could also be seen as retaliation for our coverage.”

The day before, CNN had falsely bleated around the clock that fired FBI director James Comey would testify to Congress that he had never told Trump he was not under FBI investigation.

The next day, when Comey confirmed that he did, in fact, tell Trump that, CNN was forced to admit that it had pushed fake news.

Peter Baker, the White House correspondent for the New York Times, was also seated in the back during the joint press conference.

Comey told the Senate panel that most of the anonymously-sourced reports bloviated by mainstream media—specifically the New York Times—were “almost entirely wrong.”

Comey explained: “The challenge … with writing stories about classified information is the people talking about it often don’t really know what’s going on … And we don’t call the press and say, ‘Hey, you got that thing wrong.'”

CNN, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and other liberal media have come under fire for aggressively pushing fake news stories to advance their anti-Trump narrative, only to get debunked hours or days later.

Earlier this week, CNN was slammed for staging a bogus Muslim protest in London to push its pro-Islam narrative. CNN denied the protest was staged, but the damning behind-the-scenes video suggests otherwise.
