A New Jersey woman was head over heels for her first lesson on why it is important to pay attention when you walk.
Video surveillance footage showed a 67-year-old woman paying looking at her mobile phone while walking along a sidewalk in Plainfield, when she came to an open basement door that she didn’t notice.
The woman hit the door, and tripped over it falling six feet.
The unidentified woman was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, according to ABC 7.
The door was open because of repairs being made to gas lines in the area.
