A Washington bar will buy a round of drinks for the house each time President Donald Trump tweets about former FBI Director James Comey during his testimony Thursday before the Senate intelligence committee.
The Union Pub posted the generous offer Wednesday on Facebook, saying the special “will run til Comey’s testimony is over, or 4pm, whichever is earlier.”
The Union Pub offer came after Washington Post reporter Robert Costa tweeted that sources told him the president “does not plan to put down Twitter on Thursday. May live tweet if he feels the need to respond.”
I'm told by two WH sources that Pres. Trump does not plan to put down Twitter on Thursday. May live tweet if he feels the need to respond.

TMZ caught up with U.S. Rep. Peter King and asked the lawmaker for his thoughts on the bar’s promotion..
“There’s going to be a lot of drunks in Washington,” the New York Republican replied.
After confirming that the meeting starts at 9:30 a.m., King then offered a prediction, saying: “I’d say by 10:15, half the city will be bombed.”
Another prediction seen in the social media reactions to the story is that the pub will be bankrupt by Friday!
Here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:

Give Coates and Rogers a few drinks, maybe they’ll spill the beans.
