Singer Rihanna clapped back at fat-shaming haters who mocked her recent weight gain using a hilarious meme of rapper Gucci Mane.
The Grammy winner showed a split photo of Gucci Mane looking flabby in 2007 and fabulous in 2017 in her Instagram post. In 2016, Gucci Mane lost 75 pounds after being released from prison by following a low-carb diet and working out regularly.
Rihanna snarked in her Instagram caption: “If you can’t handle me at my 2007 Gucci Mane, you don’t deserve me at my 2017 Gucci Mane.”
The caption is a riff on the famous Marilyn Monroe quote: “If you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best.”
The post garnered 683,753 likes and thousands of comments from loyal fans, who love RiRi at any size. “You will always be forevermore beautiful,” one fan wrote. “I really don’t understand what the heck everyone is going on about.” Another fan gushed: “Yasss baby!!! Well said!”

RiRi’s weight gain has fueled rumors she’s pregnant and spawned backlash from fair-weather fans who are used to seeing the Barbados-born beauty sporting a bangin’ bikini body.
Last month, the blog Barstool Sports was slammed after writer Chris “Spags” Spagnuolo fat-shamed the singer in an article entitled: “Is Rihanna Going To Make Being Fat the Hot New Trend?” The article has since been deleted amid fan outcry, and the writer was suspended.

Meanwhile, fans said Rihanna looks great, and recalled that when she gained weight in 2013, she jokingly nicknamed herself “Thickanna.”
Twitter then lit up with tributes to “Thickanna.”

Others said people should stop fat-shaming Rihanna, because she’s hardly “fat” even with the extra weight.
