Since when did Breitbart News care about offending the delicate, politically-correct sentimentalities of liberals, beltway ‘conservatives,’ and globalists?
Former Breitbart editor Katie McHugh was reportedly fired by the news organization on Sunday for tweeting this:

Granted, perhaps McHugh could have chosen a better set of words. She could have considered the history of Irish nationalist terror in Great Britain. She could have also acknowledged the fact that obviously not all Muslims are engaged in terror attacks. But hey, it’s a tweet and the woman only has 140 characters to make her point, so she went with hyperbole.
After all, haven’t the majority of terror attacks lately come from Islamic extremists? And if so, isn’t her point technically true?
But regardless, McHugh’s transgression has suddenly met the disapproval of the new politically-correct bosses at Breitbart who have apparently decided to snub the base that built them into a powerhouse and go off trying to win lefties and neocons, an example of tilting at windmills if there ever was one.

McHugh previously worked for The Daily Caller and has written hundreds of articles for Breitbart since 2015.
So far, Breitbart has declined to comment on the firing, but Mchugh confirmed that it was directly related to several Saturday Twitter posts in the wake of the latest London terror attack, including a CNN report by former TheBlaze writer Oliver Darcy, who was quick to virtue-signal his ‘disapproval’ of McHugh’s sins.

After retweeting President Trump’s renewed call for a travel ban Saturday, the then-Breitbert editor let loose a string of truth-bombs that ended up being too much for her bosses.

Shockingly (is it, really?), that last tweet has gotten McHugh in trouble with Germany, whose deep state operatives apparently want her kicked off Twitter entirely.
McHugh is standing firm, but is asking for help to pay medical bills and cost of living until she can land back on her feet.

“I said nothing wrong,” she wrote on the Crowdfunding page. “As President Donald Trump says, if we don’t get smart, it will only get worse.”
Breitbart is reportedly seeking to expand their reach both domestically and internationally and compete with more “mainstream” news outlets, but is abandoning the base that got them where they are truly the answer?
Although most mainstream media jackals were doubtless heavily in favor of McHugh’s dismissal, she also got plenty of support on the right.
Hart to argue against this. https://t.co/6ZznhnQRm5

Whatever the reason for firing, Katie McHugh is a great reporter. https://t.co/RKG4GGhdk0

Wouldn't explaining why you think @k_mcq was incorrect be a better response than firing her? https://t.co/MdajJQYOza @AlexMarlow
