London’s Metropolitan Police Service has a simple three word plan for citizens when under attack by radical Islamic extremists: “Run, Hide, Tell.”
The “Tell” aspect being to tell police what is happening, not to tell the world that you are but a helpless victim.
In a tweet that seems to accurately capture the mindset of many European leaders as the continent is beset with terrorist attacks, Metropolitan Police posted the following tweet in the immediate aftermath of Saturday’s attack in London — advice that the U.K. media was eager to share.

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Sunday morning to denounce the response by London Mayor Sadiq Khan to Saturday’s terrorist attack and to say this is no time for “being politically correct,” adding that it is time to “get down to the business of security for our people.”
He also targeted critics of U.S. gun laws, pointing out that the jihadists “used knives and a truck.”
